Write a story with the title, ‘Reaching new heights’.

My fingers slipped on the wet ladder rung, and for half a second the world became nothing but air—thin, cold, and sharp enough to cut. Below me, the canyon chewed silently at the rope, and above, the metal platform swayed like it was laughing.

“Don’t look down!” Farah’s voice snapped through the wind, not comforting—commanding.

Of course I looked down.
